Hi! Todd "Toad" McGee here!
I'm a writer, fighter, jokester, storyteller, and up-and-coming comic book character. Welcome to the strange, funny, dangerous, and occasionally ridiculous universe inside my head.
I grew up in the Bronx during some of New York City's wildest years (80s-90s). Along the way, life threw more than its share of punches, but it also gave me an endless supply of stories, ideas, characters, and lessons that continue to shape everything I create today.
I believe all of those experiences have made me one mighty little creative force, bringing bad-ass, kick-ass, wickedly twisted, and, every now and then, downright hilarious entertainment to anyone willing to jump into my world.
Whether I'm writing novels, telling unbelievable stories from my own life adventures, dreaming up original superheroes and villains, or somehow turning myself into one of them, there's one thing people tell me again and again...
"I've never heard anything quite like that before."
Now, to be fair... not everyone reacts the same way. Some people laugh. Some people stare. A few probably want to ban me out of the family dinner discussions. That's okay. Original ideas have always been a little messy. I'm sure plenty of people will see me as one of those crazy writers, and honestly... I'm perfectly comfortable with that. The worlds worth discovering rarely begin with ordinary thinking.
Right now, my story vault is packed with feisty characters, strange adventures, unforgettable villains, and more worlds than I can build fast enough. My goal isn't to create entertainment for everyone.
My goal is to create entertainment you've never experienced before.

Meet Dracilla
A Fictional Character who Sings, Bites, Fights, and Fixes Smiles.
Welcome to my gritty comic Wild Urban Fantasy World — where monsters and heroes throw down on the streets of New York City for ego, cause, or no reason at all. A world where vampires dream of dental school, the Church keeps assassins on the payroll, and the line between hero and villain is always up for debate.
At the center of that world stands Dracilla Bowers.
Of all the characters I've ever created, none has taken on a life of her own quite like Dracilla. Officially, she's a fictional character, the star of my novels, songs, and dark fantasy universe. Unofficially, she's had no trouble convincing people she actually exists. Some days, I'm not entirely sure myself.
Dracilla first appears in her origin story, Dracilla and the Holy Order. All she wanted was to fix smiles. But after arriving in New York City as a first-year dental student, she discovers she's the last living descendant of the infamous Dracula. Overnight, her royal bloodline places a target on her back.
To the Vatican, Dracilla is nothing more than a lingering threat from a war they believed ended centuries ago. Determined to eradicate the vampiric virus forever, they've deployed a ruthless, Vatican-funded hit squad armed with warriors and weapons specifically designed to hunt creatures like her.
Now, with ancient enemies closing in and powerful instincts awakening inside her, Dracilla must decide who she really is: healer or killer, hero or villain, savior or successor to darkness. If she wants to survive long enough to graduate dental school, she'll have to master both fangs and finals.
But Dracilla isn't just a character to me. She's a creative playground where I get to combine everything I love—storytelling, mythology, humor, romance, horror, music, suspense, New York street culture, and imagination. The novels tell her story. The music explores her emotions. Together they create a single universe: the story you read and the heartbeat you feel.
And if you're not careful, you may start believing she's real too.
